Business Support Programme Final Conference to be held in Split PDF Print E-mail

“South East European Network – SEENet”  - the Project that created conditions for new opportunitiesand support to the business people in Europe 

“SEENet” project has been implemented with the financial support of Business Support Program of European Commission for Business Representative Organizations from Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and Turkey and is going to its successful end in June 2009. After 18 months of activities – 10 project partners from 8 countries: Trier Chamber of Crafts (Germany), Chamber of Kavala (Greece), Hungarian Association of Small and Medium Size Enterprises, SME Union Slovenia, Union of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bulgaria (Bulgaria), National Union of Romanian Employers, UMIS – Small and Medium Entrepreneurs Association (Croatia), Yalova Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen Union (Turkey), Laleli Industrialists and Businessmen Association (Turkey) and National Association of Small and Medium Business – Bulgaria, in its capacity of the lead partner, are able to report the achieved results.

 

The most powerful instrument built during the action is the business web portal, providing information on 8 languages concerning implementation of Community Acquis in the following priority themes: environment and energy efficiency; HACCP; e-services, including e-learning; public-private partnership; corporate social responsibility; newly established enterprises and access to capital.

A register of key experts has been open for use by the companies to receive consultancy in different fields in order to increase their competitiveness. The knowledge and experience from survey, analysis, study visits and partners meetings are available in the project Booklet in which good practices from the eight countries give to small and medium business ideas how to implement Acquis and to cover European standards.

 

On 15 and 16 of June 2009 in Varna,  the partners`consortium disseminated the outputs of the project. The final closing conference of the project will take place on 29 and 30 of June in Split, where the partnership will have the opportunity present to the  to the European Commission and other Business Support Program project partners the South East European Business Network  its achievements. During this closing conference the future cooperation initiatives will be discussed and further follow up activities will be planned in order to enrich the power of created instruments for support of companies.
